Heritage Tour - Philippines

Following the stations of the cross, this trip features 14 major churches, all in the island of Luzon. Several others were merely photographed for its exterior.

From Lucena City, we drove north to Candelaria then via San Juan, we drove towards Lipa City and Taal.

The very first station is St. Martin of Tours, located in Taal, Batangas. We visited this church via the backroads of Quezon and Batangas after a rainfall. I have forgotten how beautiful the ricefield look after the planting season. The picturesque landscape is reminiscent of the old-school pictures of the rural life.

From Taal,  we trekked the lesser known route to Tagaytay.
