Day 1
We all arrived at the Nashville airport at the same time, and took a cab to the Opryland Hotel. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is all indoors, but gives the feeling of outside with the streams, waterfalls, and plants.
The accomodations were nice, but paled in comparison to the common areas of the hotel.
After semi-unpacking we ventured out for cocktails. We picked a nice bar that had "outdoor" seating overlooking the water. We sat here for quite awhile visiting and catching up, not much looking at each other because we were taking in our surroundings.
We went to dinner at Rachel's Kitchen, also in the hotel. The buffet was very good, but very pricey. We had a nice dinner, and then went back to the room to go to sleep.
