Baseball and Brew

We have a dozen Detroiters coming in town a week before my wedding...How lucky are we to have the Tigers in town? We'll watch the game and then get dinner and a few drinks at Pyramid Ale House... which is a great bar/restaurant right across the street from the stadium. We'll get to and from the stadium from by bus (http://transit.metrokc.gov/) to avoid parking.

Dilettante Chocolates and B+O Espresso are my favorite seattle dessert shops... so we'll try them both. The younger of the crowd will hit The War Room which will probably have hip hop night.

Nice Trip....Although i live here, so i get see all that everyday. lol. You sure made my city look great though...and Red Mill Burger has the best Burgers in the country...nice choice.

EMP is a definite stop for a few hours!!!! however for a honeymoon trip you simply MUST go to Teatro ZinZanni!!!!!! (seriously get reservations you wont be disappointed) What about the public market or the underground city tour? The first Starbucks? Riding the pig? Hike through 2 mile pitch black tunnel in the mountains? I love Seattle!!!

Just went to seattle in June,had the best time of my life stayed at the hyatte at olive and 8th a very nice hotel.Rode the ride a ducks and had a good time ,seen the space needle was a little too high for me but still went.Pike place market was neat and seeing the bubble gum wall,going back next year and cant wait to see more.

Teenage son and I spent 11 days in/around Seattle visiting family. July is the best time to visit, in my opinion...no rain, perfect temperatures, just beautiful! We went to Safeco Field and watched Mariner's vs Tigers, turned into a 15 inning game!ICHIRO! Took in the sights from atop the Space-Needle. Got a great pic of guys thrownig fish at Pike Place Market (have camera ready...happens fast!).Took a fantastic Ferry ride...very relaxing. You have to "Ride The Ducks"...be prepared to sing. Kids did the Underground Tour. We also spent a day at Green Lake...plenty to do there,kayaking,sailing,swimming,great path. We loved this trip so much, we are planning on going back, want to go to Mt. Ranier, and take a trip to Canada from there.
