Seville/Marbella

A trip from August 30, 2006 to September 12, 2006, travelling to Seville, Sevilla, Marbella

This is the itinerary for our honeymoon.

3 nights in the swanky Hotel Alfonso VIII... which was literally made for a king ;)

Travel to the Costa del Sol, which is on the Mediterranean Sea. We stay 2 nights at a hotel on the beach... hob-knobbing with celebrities. The Costa del Sol is known for great parties... it's Cancun European style.

Travel back to Seville and stay 1 week at a nice but not palatial hotel.

I look most forward to seeing the beach, a soccer match, a bullfight, the cathedral, a palace (Reales Alcazares), a museum (Bellas Artes), shopping, and nightlife. We made our itinerary giving 1 day to each of the 5 areas of Seville (Arenal, Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa, Macarena, Triana) and leaving some time late in the trip to go back and see the areas that we like most.

Honeymoon

The Hotel Alfonzo was amazing. We enjoyed the view from our room (picture on right).

Here is a picture or our bathroom.

Here is the courtyard in the middle of the hotel, where we ate breakfast every morning.

This is so awesome! I plan on going to spain in a couple years, and Seville is definetly one of my top destinations. Looks like fun!

I often go to Saville to do some sight seeing, it is without any doubt the nicest town in the south of Spain.

I loved Marbella. What a great Honeymoon. I remember the beach, even after 10 years! Took a high speed hydro Cat to Morrocco...couldn't believe that we were that close. My best Euro vacation ever!
