rain drops keep falling on my...
i can organize a trip, put it in a neat binder, plan it to a tee but when it comes to luck? i have none. when i went to pick up the rental car the skies opened up and DUMPED rain on st. louis. i pushed leaving until 10pm to miss it. ha! instead i just gave it a little time to move ahead so i could catch up with it and drive through it all the way to pennsylvania!!
we finally arrived at 1:30pm EST. on schedule but VERY tired. i hope there is no more rain!

I enjoyed reading about your trip. Glad I wasn't with you. lol I love visiting NYC but my brother has lived in Manhattan and still lives nearby. He was my tour guide and that really helped
It reminds me that even when things go wrong on a trip, you need to relax and laugh about it. All that rain--all that getting lost--and you still say you love every part of the trip. You're the kind of person I'd love to travel with! And in a way, from now on, I think I shall. Every time something goes wrong I shall think of you & smile. Kindred travelers! Keep smiling!
