Here is a list of a few clubs and lounges I visited on my trip to Dubai. Each one offered something fun and unique. We also enjoyed a fantastic water park where you actually get pushed up the slide. It is a great place to spend the day and cool off from the hot sun. Another highlight was going on the Day Desert Safari Trip – truly unforgettable.

Bahri Bar
Where to find it: Mina A' Salam
Located at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort.
This is a wonderful place to enjoy great drinks and a light snack. A few added benefits to coming here include its stunning views and great live jazz music. Whether you come for the music or the impressive setting, the Bahri Bar is sure to impress.
Boudoir
Where to find it:

The Boudoir provides you with a taste of France with its impressive cuisine and exquisite ambience. As the evening progresses the music changes from relaxing to invigorating. My feet definitely felt the pain of dancing all night long.Take advantage of the delicious meals and enjoy the creative cocktails.
Buddha bar

Grosvenor West Marina Beach by Le Meridien
If you have ever been to the Buddha Bar in Paris then you know the one here in Dubai could be nothing short of amazing. The enormous Buddha statue, lounge, private rooms and great music all create a fantastic atmosphere. The sushi is out of this world as well. Living up to all its hype, this is the place to be seen in Dubai. The lines can be long so it is best to get there early... or have a connection to get inside:)
Lotus One
Where to find it:
Ground Floor, Convention Tower
The Lotus One is one of Dubai's best lounge spots. This is a great place to go with your friends to enjoy fantastic drinks and mellow out to smooth tunes. My favorite was the Spiced Pear Bellini. Enjoy their innovative drink creations while you dine on the Asian themed dishes.
Sho Cho

Dubai Marine Beach Resort
Attention has been given to every detail of Sho Cho. The beautiful fish tanks, futuristic chairs and fantastic lighting help create the stunning aqua theme. This feel is carried through to the delicious Japanese cuisine that is sure to please even the most discriminating palate. It is one of my favorite places to eat sushi.
Trilogy
Where to find it:
Next door to the Madinat Jumeirah Resort.
Spreading over three floors, Trilogy is full of energy and people. The main floor had featured Charlie C, who is one of the best DJs in Dubai. I absolutely loved hearing his tracks all night long. The packed dance floors only prove how great the music here truly is. The Mezzanine allows you to take a look over all the action happening below. Plus, it is where the VIPs hang out. The rooftop is lined with day beds and couches. The cocktails, amazing music and beautiful people definitely make Trilogy one of Dubai's hottest nightspots.
A few ideas...
The Wild Wadi Water Park is a fantastic water park where you can enjoy amazing rides, go surfing or just relax on the lazy river. One of my favorite rides was the one that pushed you up the slide as you sat on the tubes. For the more adventurous you can try out Jumeirah Sceirah or the Rushdown Ravine. The wave pools and surfing areas were packed as well. There is a women and kids only day each week so make sure to ask what days are available for you. This truly is an oasis from the hot sun.
Dubai makes the most of its desert surrounds by allowing you to go sandboarding on its impressive dunes. There are lessons available if you need a bit of help. Once you get the hang of it though you will love the feeling of conquering these 'slopes'.
The premium hotels, world-class shopping and fantastic nightlife are reasons enough to visit Dubai. However, one of my highlights was experiencing a Day Desert Safari trip. Heading out in our 4 WD vehicles we cruised through the desert and saw this natural beauty up close. The sunset alone was worth the trip. It is an adventure I won't soon forget.
Hotels
You will feel like you are arriving at a palace and will be treated like royalty as soon as you arrive. The rooms are lovely and the Jumeira Beach is absolutely wonderful. You could also enjoy a Hammam spa treatment. Should you choose to venture beyond the beautiful grounds the One and Only can provide transportation to the great shops located nearby.

Great post hellokitty! Ivanka, I applaud you in your revue of Dubai. Thank you for sharing your insights to a treasure of the world. I have many dream vacation locations in my mind. If I only visit them in my mind, that is comfort enough for me. I work hard for my money and I understand the efforts of others as well. Appreciation for the finer things in life comes from within. Money does not buy happiness by any means. Those that criticize you or others for your monetary wealth do not understand selfworth. They fail to see your true beauty or their own for that matter. Please keep sharing your journey's with us. Especially the sunsets, the music, the people, the laughter! Those are the true things in life for which you can't put a value on. Cheers darling!!
