I have to say it was a nice place to go, easy to stay on a budget and the "expensive" places I went to didn't seem worth the price. I enjoyed the local resturants which cost about $7 per person (250 Bahts). I was supprised that the whole ecomomy of the area was on tourism. You could actually go with no reservations and just a load of cash, exchange your money at the airport and have a great vacation. (Just read up before you go)

Coral Island
Coral island was a place I envisioned before going to Thailand. It was almost my own private beach. But had the basic services I needed, like a resturant, bathroom, lockers, and beach chairs. Definatly a nice relaxing place to go.

Spa Trip
We got the the spa too early, so after making reservations we walked around the area. Nakalay Spa is part of the Thavorn Village which is huge, but on a bad beach It is rocky and didnt look fun to swim in. I cannot imagine how crowded dinner would be if the place was booked up. There must have been 100 Plus beach side cottages, 300 rooms away from the beach and then looked like 100 more rooms on the mountain side. It looked nice but After getting the bill at the spa I can only guess that it is an expensive place to stay at. I dont think Ill book a room at this resort any time soon.
2 hours spa was relaxing but overpriced. Think I'll stick to local bussiness next time.
Hello,I visited 4 times Thailand, first was Bangkok,Pattaya, second Samui, third was Phuket and the islands around, the fourth was Phuket again with Bangkok,I want to return this december but dont know where to stay this time in Phuket too,I dont find something that matches our criterias,I mean,we had difficulties with good rated hotels and I dont want to arrive and get angry with the thais which I love but...the most accessible for me seems Pattaya but not for our taste because we go around a lot,we do not go for something @else@ you know what I mean... we go usually with friends so it is kind of family vacation, can anybody her;p me with the acciomodation?
