Seventeen days till the trip! I'm so excited. It's time for a break from day to day life and cold weather and time to see the amazing beauty of Arizona! All of the planning and booking is done and now it's time to...wait...17 days!
I thought about working over my fear of flying, and go enjoy the warm weather and maybe visit a friend but still I am not able to take that flight, but maybe sometime in my life time.
What an amazing trip! We felt like we needed another week to do everything we wanted to do! Arizona is such a beautiful state - God's country! Everything we did was worth the time and money. We never made it to Lake Powell area or to Wupatki but we spent an extra day at Oak Creek which was totaly worth it!
I'm thinking about going to Sedona for my Honeymoon in the beginning of April, can anyone who has visited Sedona give me a brief insight on some of the activities and sights that are worth seeing etc..
Sedona is more like a retreat area for relaxation; psychic readings, riding in buggies/jeeps in the desert, laying at the pool, going to the Grand Canyon which is over the mountains from Sedona. You can go to the local stream or national forest with boulders in the water and relax for hours.
Sedona was the hub of our 17 day stay in Arizona. A day hike into Oak Creek canyon on the West Fork Trail, a smooth water float trip down the the Colorado river out of Page Az. and Montezuma Castle has given our family a life time of memories. The reading of Call of the Canyon by Zane Grey will have you recalling special places in Oak Creek Canyon.
OK
