Singapore Airlines

Flew from Manchester (UK) to Singapore with Singapore Airlines.  The flight was suprisingly enjoyable.  Plenty of entertainment options on the flight with on-demand audio and video.  It was a day flight so didn't need to sleep, which is a good job because I can't sleep on airplanes.  It was roughly 13 hours out (13.5 hours back).

Hi there .. For your information, this journal shouldn't be placed under Singapore, as you mentioned it's a stopover only. In addition, the display picture under Singapore is not of Singapore. Hopefully, that will get adjusted, soon :S

I've been to Singapore about 8-10 times on business and I know how strict the law is about protecting tourists. I'm surprised you had the misfortune of encountering the one and likely only incredibly dumb cab driver who risked his entire ricebowl for a few extra dollars. I have taken cabs countless times, and it is by far one of the safeest and most professional available in the world. I would say Tokyo and London would be the other two places.
