Virginia Beach, VA

iam looking for a nice venue or just a romantic gateaway in west virginia or norfolk even dc or virginia for my wedding and reception we are up to 100 guest iam so frustated about it anyone can give me some advice,my boyfriend and i want to get married this summer

I went to Virginia Beach last summer and I thought it was a huge waste of money.They call it a family town and have gangs walking up and down the road. One gang member was
shouting at my daughter in a rude manner. They have signs posted that say no swearing, Now what kind of sign is that?!?!? One more thing, at night they had these huge prison like spot lights lighting up the streets.I ask what are those for? Anyway if your looking for a safe beach town try Cocoa Beach,South beach,or Ocean city.I have been to all and felt safe and enjoyed my vacation.

I visited VA and i was highly disappointed even though i went in the fall. Very dead city, with nothing to do and bad food. Beach experience was ok but id choose South Beac, Miami any day.

Went last summer for the weekend just after visiting Williamsburg. Not a very interesting city. Virginia Beach is pretty much basic east coast beach fare. Tacky
T-Shirt Shacks and bad food. Ocean City MD was much better.

I was there this year and will consider going again next year,This time I'll stay in a hotel near the beach rathet then in Norfolk,

I love virginia beach and will go back to live there one day soon It is a great place to live!!!
