China Minorities Culture tour

 Day01: Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing , the capital of China. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Day02: Beijing
In the morning we tour the Forbidden City ; a huge complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. Walk through Tian’anmen Square , the site of many history-making events. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace , located in a park full of charming pavilions and scenic views. This evening watch the famous Beijing acrobatic show.

Day03: Beijing
Today we visit the Great Wall ; this man-made structure winds like a dragon across Northern China. After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs , and drive by the Olympic Village . Tonight you will have the famous Beijing Duck dinner.

Day04: Beijing / Xi’an
Fly to Xi'an  in the morning. Visit the Ming Dynasty City Wall , and the Shaanxi History Museum , which boasts more than 370,000 rare cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi.
Hotel: Titan Times Hotel or similar

Day05: Xi'an
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses , one of the world’s great archeological treasures. After lunch, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda . Tonight, you will be served a dumpling banquet and watch the Dances & Music of the Tang Dynasty .

Day06 Xi'an / Kunming 
Arrival KMG by air, a local guide will meet clients then visit the dragon gate of western hills. From here you will have a panoramic view of Kunming city, and a bird’s eye view of Dianchi Lake . Then visit Jinma & Biji square (Golden Horse Archway), and east & west pagodas. After dinner transfer to the hotel to check in.

Day07: Kunming / Stone forest / Kunming
After breakfast, proceed to visit Stone Forest , which is famed for the “Number one scenic wonder under Heaven.” Enjoy a forest of stones known for its natural landscape formation. You can see rare Karts Landscapes such as kissing bird, rhinoceros looking into sky and tortoise of one thousand years old. Then transfer back to Kunming.

Day08: Kunming / Dali
After breakfast, we will travel westward to Dali . Traditionally one of the best places in China to tune in, turn on, and drop out for a while, Dali remains a wonderful place to visit. Then, we will visit Lake Erhai  and the oldest architectural structures in Southwest China, the Three Pagodas . At night, we will visit the old town of Dali , where foreign tourists fill the bars and coffee houses.

Day09: Dali / Lijiang 
We will visit Xizhou Village with Bai-style buildings, before traveling north to the home of the Naxi people, Lijiang. The Naxi is a proud, if small, ethnic group and have held on to many of their traditions, despite the encroachment of modern life. Lijiang boasts more than four full traditional orchestras, including the transverse flute, three stringed banjo, Chinese lutes, giant cymbals and a fish-shaped wooden drum. 

Day10: Lijiang (B/L/D)
Morning visit to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain  which is also known as Mount Satseto, 5,600 meters above the plains, the highest among the Himalayan peaks. Also visit Baisha Village, the ancient capital of the Naxi Kingdom.
 
Day11: Lijiang / Shenzhen
After breakfast, fly to Shenzhen . Free time for last minute shopping or you can join the optional tour to China Folklore Village  and enjoy the minority show at night.

Day12: Shenzhen / HongKong airport / Hometown
Transfer to Hong Kong airport for your onward flight or you can choose to stay longer in Hong Kong.
