Cocoa Beach & Kennedy Space Center 2012

Picked up Ty from school and then headed out to take Patches to Camp Bow Wow for his camp weekend with his doggie friends while we are away.  Then we are off heading toward Orlando and Cocoa Beach.  We decided to wait and eat dinner in Cocoa Beach.  It was just our luck that upon checking in at the International Palms Resort that we found out that their restaurant Mambo's on the beach was having a Jazz night.  So, enjoyed dinner by the beach listening to a great Jazz band the Trio, a local band.  I love Jazz so this was a wonderful surprise.  After dinner we headed out to walk on the beach and see the waves and smell the salt and sea.  We dipped our toes into the water and my son decided he was going a little further and of course ended up enjoying to ocean and the sand.  Afterwards, we decided to go to the pool and the pirate waterpark for Tyler.  The water was nicely heated giving a theraputic affect at the end of a long day.  After loosening all our muscles it was time to head to our room for the night.  We knew that tomorrow we were getting up and heading to Kennedy Space Center.
