Mom and Me

So what a day!  We left Fort Collins at about 7:00ish and headed toward Cheyenne.  I hate to say it but wow, my mom should not be driving :)   Kinda scary.  On our way we saw the Camels just north of Cheyenne but didn't get pictures.   Then from Cheyenne on to Laramie, and me in the driver seat!  We stopped at the Lincoln monument which is part of the Lincoln highway that is now I-80.   We stopped at the Larimie territorial prison for a little tour.  

The trip from Larimie to Rawlins is long and tiresome.  Lots of traffic, road construction and nothing exciting to see.  From Rawlins to Rocksprings  then Greenriver.  Drove on through and then took a detour to the Jim Bridger Fort.  Didn't get to spend much time as Mom was getting tired but I got pictures of the old fort and then at the museum. 

We are spending the night in Evanston where we got a good room at Motel 6 and had a very bad meal at the Rustic Bear resaurant. 

Tomorrow we head to Salt lake City.
