It's such an exciting trip I've experienced ever. Tibet, a dream land, a region about soul and spirit, a mysterious area in the world. Just too many things about it which attract me and many of us. I've been planning to go for it for years. And this time, I make it!
Sat 09/10/05 (day 1)
Arrive at Lhasa
Finally we make it!
Fly to Chengdu from Shenzhen in the morning.
Stay at Chengdu airport for about 1.5 hours and take off again for Lhasa. Landed at Gongga airport at 3pm. Nice weather! The high land makes me feel refreshed once again!
We take the airport bus entering into Lhasa downtown via so-called 2 bridges and 1 channel. Finally we see the palace! How magnificent it is!
Call meimei who will go with us about where to stay. At last we check in Balangxue restaurant.
