A trip to the Land Down Under will not be complete without staying in Sydney, Australia’s largest and oldest city. Tourists should not miss the iconic Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The city also has numerous museums, theaters and parks that complement buildings of various styles of architecture.

Sydney’s sights and sounds can be overwhelming ( there are plenty of them) so it is best to plan your trip ahead. Don't waste time running around and scrambling for things to do when you're there already. A three day itinerary should be enough to cover the city’s main attractions. Check out City-Discovery.com to book the tours and get the chance to benefit from special deals and promotions that the website offers from time to time. Activities listed in this itinerary include an experienced tour guide, comfortable transport, and hotel pickup/drop-off.

Here is a suggested itinerary for first-time and seasoned travelers to Sydney:

The Best of Sydney

This Best of Sydney tour combines a luncheon cruise, a buffet dinner and a motorcoach tour of the city. The tour starts with a Matilda luncheon cruise on the waters of Sydney Harbour. Breathe in the cool sea breeze as you view the splendor of Sydney from the sea.

The coach tour brings travellers around Sydney to see the city’s renowned attractions. Visit the Sydney Opera House and cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. From Milson's Point, get panoramic views of the bridge and skyline. Cross another bridge, this time, the Spit Bridge and see the view from Seaforth Lookout. Tour the northern beaches of Freshwater Bay and Curl Curl and drop by the seaside resort of Manly, famous for its surf beach and Norfolk pines.

As the night approaches, enjoy a delightful buffet dinner at a revolving restaurant in Sydney Tower. The 360-degree view of the city, the relax atmosphere 250 meters above ground and the sumptuous buffet dinner combine for a great experience and hearty appetite-- the perfect way to cap the first day in Sydney.
