Singapore is a tourist’s paradise. This small country packs a host of top attractions that can satisfy even the most discriminating of tourists. With the recent addition of Singapore Flyer, the tallest observation wheel in the world, there is no reason to miss visiting Singapore.

There was really no lion in the Lion City. Studies suggest that lions probably never lived on the island, and it was most likely a tiger that Singapore’s ancient founder, Sang Nila Utama, had seen. Nevertheless, Singapore continues to roar as one of the top tourist destinations in Asia. In 2007 alone, it received 10.2 million visitors.

In three days, one can roam around the city and see all that Singapore has to offer. Some of Singapore’s best spots include the Sentosa, Singapore Flyer, the Merlion, the Marina, Universal Studios and the Jurong Bird Park. Here is a suggested three-day schedule in Singapore. View Singapore From the Ground and From the Top

Take this tour that combines a city tour of Singapore and a ride on the Singapore Flyer. The tour takes visitors around the city’s Civic District, passing by Padang, the Parliament House, the Supreme Court and the City Hall. Visitors can take their photos with the Merlion, a popular icon of the city, and enjoy the great views of Marina Bay.

The tour brings participants to the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown. Tourists will also visit the National Orchid Garden and Little India.

For the second part of the tour, visitors can get a panoramic view of the the entire metropolis from the top of the 165-meter Singapore Flyer. See the impressive skyline of Singapore, including the city’s landmarks like Collyer Quay, Raffles Place, The Fullerton Singapore, Esplanade, Merlion Park, Empress Place, Singapore River, Padang, Fort Canning Park and Floating Stadium.

Cap the night with a stroll along the central business district via Benjamin Sheares Bridge to see the world’s largest fountain. Take the tour with an option to taste Singapore Sling, a mixture of gin, cherry brandy and Benedictine.
