2011 MAGICal vacation

I have been wanting to take my kiddos on a trip to Disney World, well since they were born! Of course I have been wanting to go also. We picked up a rental vehicle on Thursday, 3/10/11. A Jeep Compass? 4WD? Unless I wanted to pay for an upgrade that was our only choice, with gas almost $4 a gallon. I tried to load some stuff that night, but ended up having to finish loading it on Friday morning. 

I had to work and the kids had school but we were counting down the minutes! I got to leave work maybe 10 minutes early and quickly picked up my kids and met my best bud at his sisters house so he could load (more like squeeze) his stuff in the back. We were meeting up with his brother in Prattville to eat before starting our long trek. We ate at a place called Joe Mama's. The food was good. Gas was cheaper in Prattville so we fueled up there and let the kiddos change into their pajamas. I left the key in case the pumps got really crowded and Pat broke his nose opening the door to move the thing!! I was so hoping the rest of the trip wasn't doomed.

I had decided to stop overnight so I wouldn't be so tired when we got there. I researched some hotels online and finally picked the Days Inn in Marianna, FL. We got there a little before 11pm which was about what I had figured. It was a decent drive down. Let's get some sleep.
