Canadian Honeymoon Adventure

Sam and I left for Montreal today. We arrived at our hote (Hotel Anne Ma Seour Annel at about 3pm. We then made our way to the Museum of Contemporary Art via the Metro (which was an experience). When we got our selves to the Museum there was a comedy fair like event happening right outside it's doors. There was a very interesting fellow from Australia who Sam was prodded into helping (my me) on a few occasions during his tricks

After the Museum we had dinner at a nice bistro and tried a couple of local beers with our meal.













After dinner we headed over to Notre Dame Cathedral for an unexpected history lesson and a very nice light show.















These are a few picts of the inside. All the statues are made of wood. Interesting.









After visting the Cathedral we hopped on a horse drawn carriage and had a night tour of the old part of Montreal. We finished up the evening by watching a fireworks display set to a medley of music from the Wizard of Oz.
