my quick trip in charlotte in march 2010

Charlotte is an ambitious and very rapidly growing city in the southern part of central North Carolina . It is the largest city in the state with a very large population. Charlotte is the city where there are numerous museums scattered through out the city. The new museums are going to open in the city in next one or two year.

When I went to see charlotte, firstly I went to see the mint museum of art of charlotte. The main museum is in the original building of the charlotte mint. It was moved from its location at mint st. It lacks in its permanent collection. It regularly hosts high quality traveling exhibits from around the world. American art and ceramics are its primary strengths. It contains the art pieces from around the world such as colonial/pre-colonial art, and costumes and other decorative art. If you are an art lover than you can visit this place although it is not a must see place for you unless you stay here for more than couple of days. As I am an art lover so I visited this place. This was all for the day and then I returned back to my hotel among the charlotte hotels.
