We are celebrating our 4th Wedding anniversary by taking a trip to California. We plan to stay in Long Beach and visit the harbor, go to Hollywood, and play tourist in LA. We are taking our dog so he can enjoy the holiday with us.

Hollywood
Our second day, Friday, May 28th, we went looking for Hollywood. We found out that it was originally called HollywoodLand and later got shortened to Hollywood.
We also went to Griffith Park and had a picnic. It was a lovely day for a drive.
We had to go see Grauman's Chinese Theater, compare our feet with the stars. There were some characters who were willing to pose for pictures and it was a lot of fun.

When in Long Beach--be sure to go to 2nd St. Belmont Shores--Super Mex restaurant there is great--walk around there, darling area -Than head over to Farmer's Market at Alamitos Bay on Sunday. Do not miss going to Surf City USA--Huntington Beach--They have a wonderful Dog Section along the beach there. Going farther south-Laguna Beach-Don't miss Roof Top Restaurant--Views out of sight!! Downtown Long Beach at night along Pine is nice too!

It was a wonderful trip especially getting to spend more time with Ken and Snoopy. We saw a beautiful sunset on Seal Beach, walk down the walk of the stars, spent some time watching boats at the marina, had a picnic in Griffith Park, and had a great time.

Day 2 - I want to be a Hollywood tourist, including finding the famous Hollywood sign, Graumann's Chinese Theatre, and the Walk of the Stars. Want to find John Wayne for Ken, Lassie for Snoopy, and Robert Redford and Paul Newmann for me. Hopefully I can get a map to find their stars.

Day 1 will be the drive from Las Vegas, finding our hotel, and finding an inviting place to pick up some dinner and watch the sunset. I hope to get some wonderful pictures of the sunset, marina, and ocean while we are there. We want to spend each evening by the ocean at sunset.

We want to find some nice beaches, maybe a farmer's market. Since we are going to be close to LA we want to play tourist some there, too. Want to find the HOLLYWOOD sign, Graumann's Chinese Theater and the walk of the stars.

We are planning on taking our dog, Snoopy, with us on this trip, so I am researching hotels and places to go where he can be with us. Snoopy is protective of us, and is usually very good around people. We want to take him to the ocean and let him walk the beach with us. God to remember to set up our doggy poo bags so that won't be a problem.
