Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Zoo Blooms is an annual event here, and the tulip and daffodil displays were stunning! All the flora and fauna at the zoo are beautiful and well maintained, with plenty of areas to sit and rest in the shade. The animal exhibits are large and clean, and there are trainers with animals out on the zoo pathways providing opportunities for up-close experiences. The Cat House is a unique habitat showcasing many different types of cats from all over the world, and the Reptile House is a historic landmark buidling from the zoo's early days. Beware: there is a new entrance and parking lot, and although there is plenty of signage directing drivers TO the zoo, there was a confusing lack of signage directing drivers back to the main highway from the zoo exit, so make sure you know where you need to go.
