The weather has sort of turned against us now and it is getting pretty cloudy and cold..but we are hardy and weathered the wind on the ferry to Isle of Skye. This is a picture of the first sight of the island from the ferry. Staying in a lovely hotel right on the water.
Today, Monday, we drove almost the whole way around the Island visiting an old crofter's village (crofter's were tenant farmers) Thatched roofs and all, much like Ireland. Also toured Dunvegan castle, home of the clan MacLeod . Tomorrow we stop at Loch Ness with high hopes in spotting Nessie. Then on to Inverness.
