Sharm el Sheikh magic with your nile cruise

Day 1 Arrive at the Cairo International Airport. You will be met and assisted through the customs. You will be taken to your hotel in Cairo, where you will check-in to your hotel. If you are not too exhausted after your flight we can arrange a private tour guide to show you the wonderful sights near downtown Cairo.
There are several local attractions near your hotel including Mohammed Ali Mosque, Abdeen Palace, a felucca boat ride on the Nile River, art galleries, horse drawn carriage rides, and some of the best shopping in Cairo. If you would like, we can arrange a tour guide to take you to these places.

Day 2 After breakfast at the hotel, you will be shown the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You will next go to Sakkara and Memphis, the old capital of Egypt. On the way back you will have the chance to see the local artisans at work You will have an Egyptologist tour guide along with you. You will spend the night in your hotel..


Day 3 After breakfast, you will have free time until afternoon. If you wish, we can arrange a tour guide to take you around downtown Cairo or you may choose to take a nice walk along the Nile walkway. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Cairo Train Station. You will take a first class, over-night train ride to Aswan. (Please contact us for cabin availability.)



Day 4 You will arrive in Aswan in the morning, where you will be transferred to your Cruise ship on the Nile. You will have lunch onboard. The first stop is the high Dam, and then on to the old Aswan Dam & Philae Temples. In Aswan, you will learn a lot about the ancient customs, the Nubien lifestyle and the very spiritual atmosphere of the area. You will have a Felucca ride around the Botanical gardens. Overnight on the cruise ship.



Day 5 Today you will be sailing to Edfu, where you will visit the Edfu temple. Next, you will sail to Esna. If you would like, we can arrange a tour guide to take you on a tour of the local sights there. Overnight on the cruise ship.



Day 6 Today you will sail From Esna to Luxor. There is so much to see here! You will have lots of time to explore the surrounding areas. You will be taken to an open air market. If you wish, we can have one of our tour guides barter for lower prices on goods you would like to buy. This can be extremely entertaining! You can watch artisans making statues from granite taken from the nearby mountains. The craftsmanship is truly amazing. You will be visiting the East Bank of the Nile River, where the Karnak & Luxor Temples reside. Overnight on the cruise ship.



Day 7 Today, you will visit West Bank. There, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El Bahar and Colossi of Memnon. After the visit, you will transfer to Hurghada. Check-in to the hotel. You will now have free time at leisure. If you wish, we can arrange a tour guide to show you the local sights, artisans at work and the local customs and culture. Overnight in the Hotel in Hurghada.



Day 8 After breakfast at the hotel, you will a free day at leisure. Hurghada is amazingly beautiful. You can enjoy the sunrise over the glassy waters of the Red Sea. If you wish, we can arrange a tour guide to take you to do some of the activities surrounding the Red Sea. These include: glass bottom boat rides, sand skiing, water skiing, jet skiing, see tropical birds and other tropical and dessert animals, watch the fire dancers and belly dancers, diving on the coral and snorkeling, go 4 wheeling, watching the local artisans, go star watching with great telescopes, and visiting Sahara Park. There are also camel rides and horse back rides in the dessert and on the beaches. You will spend the night in your hotel in this great city. Enjoy the nightlife at the clubs or go dancing at one of the more cozy bars.



Day 9 You will have breakfast at the hotel. Today you will enjoy another free day at leisure. You will have the chance to do all the things you could not fit in the day before. Dinner is served at the hotel. Over night at the hotel in Hurghada.


Day 10 Breakfast is served at the hotel. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Cairo. When you arrive in Cairo, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will now have the chance to finish your final shopping and visit a casino, club or bar. You will be at the hotel there overnight.


Day 11 After breakfast, you will be transferred by private A/C car to the Cairo International Airport and assisted through customs for your departure flight. Our services end here.
