"I Can See For Miles and Miles"

The Westin Michigan Avenue is located on Chicago's famed Magnificent Mile, steps from Lake Michigan, award-winning restaurants and premier shopping. Plus, we're within walking distance from the Midwest's most popular tourist and leisure destination, Navy Pier. Get immersed in the unique culture of Chicago and let The Westin Michigan Avenue transcend your next visit to the Windy City.

Start your day with breakfast at Tempo Cafe, then hop on board the Double Decker Bus/Trolley bus tour. The tour will give you an overview of the city with the option of getting on and off at all the main points of interest, which includes the Millenium Park and The Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower). For a quick rush, stand on the new ledge that puts you 1,353 feet and 103 floors over the Windy City at the Willis Tower.

That's enough to get the tummy going for lunch, so walk a few blocks and enjoy Chicago's institution, Lou Mitchell's Restaurant and Bakery. Hop back on the trolley and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the Art Institute and their new addition, the Modern Wing.

On the way back to the trolley stop, cut through the Millenium Park, the 24.5 park featuring Cloud Gate (a.k.a. The Bean) and the interactive Crown fountain. If it was too long of a day, just order in a Gino's pizza for dinner.

There's much more to see in Chicago. Get your day started by heading down to the museum campus. Three museums - The Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium are all set in a park with breathtaking views of the city skyline. If the pizza didn't hold you over to the next morning, take the city bus towards the museum campus and enjoy brunch at the Bongo Room or 11 City Diner. Don't forget to check out Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.

There's more to see! Jump on a water taxi and head over to the Navy Pier. From spectacular fireworks displays to seasonal special events, there is always something happening at Navy Pier! Enjoy world-class theatrical productions at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, larger-than-life cinema at the IMAX Theatre, and the Children's Museum. Plus, Navy Pier produces hundreds of free shows, concerts, and special events for all ages featuring The Buccaneer Pirates, Navy Pier's mascot Patch, jugglers, magicians, marching bands, as well as cultural groups performing music and dance from around the globe. Have a light lunch, pick up a few souvenir items, or take an architectural boat tour before taking a leisurely walk back to the Magnificent Mile for more shopping. Michigan Avenue, where the urban experience awaits you! There's always something happening on the Magnificent Mile featuring annual events, world class shopping and dining for the whole family.
