An unexpected e-mail

Image
I still remember getting the e-mail from my producer at the Travel Channel a couple weeks ago.
The subject read "London!" and I was prepared to read about a great travel deal, maybe a last-minute airline ticket sale or a travel-related tidbit about the city--you know, something I could file away for wishful thinking.
And so when I first glanced over her e-mail, my head swam a bit. Seriously. I got a bit dizzy.
Maybe I'd misread this, because I could have sworn she just asked if I was available to hop on a plane across the Atlantic and film a shortform video guide to London and supplement it with a blog and pictures.

So that's me on the London Tube sporting the vegetarian t-shirt I found on Portobello Road.

And these are the highlights of my journey as a shortform filmmaker and my tips and insights as a traveler. May it inspire you to catch the travel bug! Enjoy!

FABULOUS! I am changing my wireless to Verizon and this video showed me all the ways I can start to use it.
I loved the travelogue. So much information and fun in such a short moment. I wish it could have gone on much longer so I could plan a whole week in London.
Thanks!

Another favorite spot I visited was Leed's Castle; it is an amazing place with Black Swans, gardens, a maze and little deli type place to enjoy a cuppa & a scone. I would like my grandaughter to get married there! The castle itself is so beautiful and rich with history.

Your video and blog are useful for my English classrooms in Chiang Mai,Thailand. My students can understand and see the world. I have to add on questions to check their understanding. I really enjoy the trip with you.
