Me, Josh, Mom, Dad, Beth, C.J., Angela, her husband-Bo, Kaitlyn, William, and Josh's mom are heading Walt Disney World for a Halloween Magical Gathering for the 1st time. We've never been to WDW during Halloween...can't wait to be there during that time of year.

Josh, my husband, had to work most of the day and we didn't get started to his mom's house until late. I drove almost all the way there; I stopped at a truck stop in Tyler , TX to get something to eat. When we got to his mom's house, I did one load of wash, packed up our stuff into his mom's car, and I got a little rest before we all headed out to Orlando , FL. His mom drove most of the way down there. Around the morning time, we were in New Orleans , LA. We picked up my sister, Angela, and her son. Kaitlyn had stayed with my parents the week before, so she was in the car with them.

We made a quick stop in Baton Rouge , LA ; the car needed gas and we all took advantage by getting something to drink at the Texaco. We ate breakfast at the Waffle House near Gulfport , MS . I ate two sunny side up eggs, grits, bacon, toast, and glass of Coke. We got cheated, because they charged us an extra meal. We then picked up Angela and her son up. It was just Josh and his mom that was driving all the way down to Orlando , FL. I sat in the back (behind the passenger seat). We stopped in Theordore , AL for lunch. His mom bought her own lunch. I bought Josh a full meal (chicken nuggets), Angela's son a meal (filet-O-Fish), and I had to split mine with Angela (chicken nuggets). My sister didn't bring any money with her on this vacation. We had to take another get gas break in Chattahoochee , FL ; everybody went to the bathroom and got something to drink. This place was full of mosquitoes. Ouch! We arrived a day early, because my mother-in-law didn't need to check-in until the next day. We stayed at the Days Inn in Winter Park . Do I know how to pick the hotels or what!?! LOL I wouldn't suggest staying there; it was away too close to a prison. But--I didn't know this until the next morning...

My husband and I both got Halloween costumes that we are planning on wearing to the Not Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. He is dressing up in an Evil Jester costume and I'm dressing up in World of Warcraft Night Elf druid. He can fix into his costume without any problems; I, on the other hand, have to have help getting my woodsey (Mother Nature type dress) pass my chest area. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to put on the Night Elf ears. My husband was worried about them not letting him wear his costumes because it was too scary or it has a mask. He, also, was worried that no adults would be wearing a costume at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We went to YouTube.com and found some videos of adults wearing masked & not masked costumes at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I found out that you can just buy no expiration date on leftover days on tickets; you have to pay for all the days on the tickets (even if you used them already), so be sure to use all the days on the tickets or just pay the no expiration date when you purchase the tickets.

Both me and my husband are looking forward to this vacation....We are getting to spend time with are children and grand kids....it will be so much fun to see my grand babies faces in the parks...

Okay, this is our 1st time going there during Halloween...not actually Halloween day, but we will be able to go to the Mickey's Not So Scary Party which is really cool. Josh and his mom have been wanting to go down there during October; I talked my parents in temp. trading their week for October 3rd - 10th (Saturday to Saturday). We will be heading to Orlando on the 2nd since it's a long drive down there. It's about a 14 hour drive from my parent's house. LOL (Good Traveling Tip: If you are planning to go to WDW by car and it's long trip for you, it will be a good idea to split the driving down there into two days.) Countdown to our Halloween WDW Trip: 2 months & 26 days (and counting)! I haven't got my 2009 Passporter, yet...but--I'm planning on going to the bookstore soon and buying me a copy of it. People that will be going on this trip are as follows: me, Josh, my mom & dad, Beth, C.J., Angela, her husband--Bo, Kaitlyn, William, and Josh's mom.
