North California Trip June 2009

Leave home from Seattle at 5am, drove 13 hrs non stop. When we got into the northern tip of California, hot waves hit us right away. Check at the outside temp on the Dashboard, it's at 102F. Driving into San Francisco downtown to our hotel, we saw the miles miles long traffic on the opposite side, we feel sorry for those who work in SF. We arrive at the hotel around 6:30pm. The hotel is right in the middle of town with restaurants and shopping all around. Intercontinental SF is very nicely fashionably decorated. We just went around the block to have a quick Japanese dinner. Then we met with some old college friends at the bar at the hotel lobby.
