I just recently gradauted from CSULB and my parents generously bought me, my sister, and our friend chipmunk a trip to New york. We all have never been and are ready to have a exciting and memorable trip. Stay updated!!!! =)

Fri 06/12/09 (day 1)

New Journal Entry

So we are finally in New York and at our Hotel. I am happy as I am sure my two other New York sisters are happy that we have finally arrived. With a two and a half hour delay in LAX, 2 missed connecting flights in Chicago with another hour delay, and then to top it off our room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel around 9:30........however they gave a $150 credit to the room along with free drinks at the bar………but with that all said and done we can now start out exciting Journey. I am also happy to say there were no thunder storms coming in as the weather channel had predicted. Thank You Jesus and to all for your prayers. Tonight our priority is food and sleep and tomorrow the city!!!

I am going on thanksgiving to watch Macy's Parade n then I will go to Rockefeller ice skating with my boyfriend, I AM SOO excited, this will be my first time to NY.
I needa shop more black and grey coats + boots

I am going to New York for Christmas. I have heard that New York is so beautiful at Christmas time. This is my 1st trip to New York and I am so excited. We will we be spending 1 week there. I have been on the internet constantly mapping New York and activities. Hopefully it won't be to terribly cold.

I plan to return to NYC the weekend of 11/6/09, stay at the Beacon hotel as my Arkansas friend of 40+ yrs and I have tickets to see Mike Epps at the Beacon Theater during the Comedy Festival. After working so hard for 36+ yrs at a Chgo Hosp. it is time to keep smelling the roses (for me visiting NYC for the 3rd time). I hope eveyone enjoys their visits as much as I do. MY HGG Inn Hotel increased double so I am switching this time, but will return b/c I love their clean hotel.

I will be going to NY to celebrate my 40th B-Day in November....Anyone want to come along and help me celebrate or just show me the BIG city? Hopefully if all goes well, I will have the time of my life...filled with excitement and laughs. Oh if anyone have suggestions please drop them off to me.
