travel and day one in Rome
Day one: Travel
Day Two: Arrival to Rome: Landed in Rome about10:45 took the train to the Termini station, found a hotel room, unpacked, cleaned up and out we went. We first explored the area by our hotel, grapped a bite to eat and then headed out to the Museo Nazional Romano...explored there a bit...weather was getting hot and we were tired from the trip so we walked back to our hotel for a little siesta.
feeling all refreshed and anxious to start our site seeing...we got ready, took the train to the piazza de Spagna...following Rick steves night walk...sat by the spanish step, walked over to the Trevi fountain, then the Pantheon...it was closed for the night, but we wondered around it then headed over to Pizza Navona, lots of crowed and entertainments...we sat down for dinner at one of the restaurants and people watched for a while, we decided to call it a night, took the train to our hotel and had a great night sleep. I felt realy good about all we did in our first day in Rome.
