
Day 1 Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, the financial and commercial center of China. You will be met by your guide and transferred to the four-star Shanghai Hotel.
Day 2 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Full day tour takes you to visit the major attractions including the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter. It was built by the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. Now it has been restored and become one of the most popular tourist sights in Shanghai. Continue to visit Shanghai Museum, the first museum in China that meets international exhibition standard. It is in the possession of a collection of 123,000 cultural artifacts in 21 categories, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The bronze collection is said to be the best in world.
After a lunch at local Shanghai Cuisine restaurant, you will visit the famous waterfront Bund, the historical street comparable to a Chinese Wall Street where tourists can get a taste of the Shanghai high-life. The rest of the day is free for you to shop at Nanjing Road.
Day 3 Shanghai / Suzhou / Hangzhou (B, L)
In the morning, you will drive to Suzhou, known as the "Venice of the East" today. Visit the Lingering Garden, praised as one of the nation's four famous gardens. Continue to visit the Garden of the Master of Nets, one of the smallest (at little more than one acre) yet considered one of the best designed and most elegant of the private gardens still extant. The last stop of today is Suzhou Silk Museum. The exhibits in Suzhou Silk Museum reflect the long silk history and the art of silk industry in China. Drive back to Hangzhou in the later afternoon and check in the four-star Ramada Plaza Hotel.
Day 4 Hangzhou / Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, drive to the West Lake and take a cruise tour to enjoy the magnificent view of the beautiful lake. Then you will visit the Lingyin Temple (Soul's Retreat Temple), It is the most influential temple in South China, and is regarded as one of the 10 famous Buddhist temples in China. Today you will also have a chance to visit a tea plantation near the city to see how the Chinese tea is made. Late in the afternoon, you will drive back to Shanghai and check in your hotel.
Transfer to the airport and board the flight to fly to the next destination.
