Road Trip Summer 2009

Yay we made it.  We got up early and packed up the expedition.  New Motel tonight so we have a road trip ahead of us.  Keeping our fingers crossed we drove back up to Slide Rock.... Yes it was open today we were one of the first people there at the gate at 902 am.  It was as fun as I remembered as a child.  The kids had a ball as well as Kenny and myself.  We spent about 4 hrs there sliding and playing in the water.  It was so cold you lost your breath when you first got in to the water.  We had the place pretty much to ourselves for the first hour or so.  We all slide it was a lot of fun. 

We left there and drove up to Williams to be ready for our big train ride tomorrow.  We found the Grand Canyon Rialroad Station and got our Boarding Tickets for tomorrow.  We checked out their gift shop and Old West Town.  Then went back to the room and the kids went swimming again..
