We ate breakfast at our hotel. It was a little breakfast. Toast, cereal, juice and coffee, it was fine. After we drove 10 miles to the Marta Station at Dunnwoody Station were we left our car(free parking) and boarded the train toward downtown. We planned on going to the Ga. Aquarium and the World of Coke today. We exited the train at the Civic Center Station were there is a bus(Route 97 - Georgia Aquarium/Zoo Atlanta) that will take you to the Aquarium or you can walk its not to far and its a nice view of the city. We choose to use Marta because of parking spaces and parking prices($10-$15), and lots of construction everywhere. Marta was clean and very user friendly. We loved it. We got a 3 day pass for $11 a person. There's your parking money.
We choose to use the Atlanta City Pass . Only $69 for adults and $49 for kids and 6 attractions.
The Ga. Aquarium was packed. It took 45 minutes just to get in. Once inside it was wall to wall people. I enjoyed Tenn. Aquarium better. It took us about 3 hours once inside.
The World of Coke was great. Its all about the Coke but what did you want? We had a blast. At the end of the tour you got to choose your own bottle of coke off the line and there are over 60 types of coke to taste. We stayed about 2 hours.
We walked back to the Marta Station but on the way we found theMellow Mushroom Pizza . It was great.
We boarded the train but instead of going toward Dunnwoody Station we went all the way to the Airport and then turned around and headed toward the car. It was a busy day but we had a great time.
