Woah... Before, I just heard about Guilin scenery from my friends..I've never been there..now, reading your journal, I can simply imagine all those pretty mountains and trees and glittering li river..can't wait to see them with my own eyes and take tons of photos..hehe..i hope you could upload more pics here..anyway, great work...

I ws in Guilin in 2004 and took the river cruise. It was one of the most interestng and most beautiful tours that took while in China. The cruise wa wonderful, seeing rice patties along the shoreline, water buffalo grazing along the shoreline and the beautiful mountains. It was about a five hour cruise with lunch served. The food was deliciouus and plentiful.If you take this cruise be sure to take a camera with you. The sights are fantastic.

I was there 15 yrs ago. I don't believe you have took those pics. They were more like post cards.
