Ha Long Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin, covers an area of 1500 square km. with more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water. The calm sea provides an ideal location for sea kayaking as we paddle through a maze of islets amid dramatic natural scenery. Having a wide range of modern kayaking equipments, we are able to maximize on speed and maneuverability ensuring a pleasant and safe trip in Halong bay.
Day 1
Kayak to Halong Bay & Cat Ba island Vietnam
Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi
You will be met up at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi by Lotussia Travel guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in town. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Relax at your hotel to recover after a long flight or discover Hanoi by yourself. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi - Ha Long City
This morning depart the capital city of Hanoi for Ha Long City, about three hours drive away. Upon arrival, we then transfer to a private boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Our destination today is Ba Cat beach where we camp for our first night or spend on board (depending on the prevailing weather conditions).
Day 03: Ba Cat Beach – Ho Ba Ham Island
Today we have a full day kayaking, in the World Heritage listed Ha Long Bay. We set off to explore some of the magnificent caves and lagoons in the area before arriving at Ho Ba Ham Island. On arrival we set up camp and have lunch before the option of additional kayaking to explore the surrounding area in the afternoon. After our local cooks have prepared our evening meal there is time to sit around the camp for some cultural exchanges with our guides and support staff.
Day 04: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Following breakfast this morning, we kayak around Luon Cave (approx. 1.5 hours) before returning to Halong Bay harbor where we meet with our vehicle for the 3hour drive back to Hanoi.
Day 05: Departure from Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel. Free time at leisure till transfer to Noi Bai airport for your onward flight back home. End tour.
