We are finally off to Paris. We get to the airport for our 6:55am flight around 5:00, good thing because this is hurdle number one. The guy directing the traffic of people in line at the delta desk was pretty rude. We were not able to use the kiosk due to leida's name not matching from the passport to the ticket. We show the lady at the desk all the paperwork and explained we called months ago on this, and finally we get our tickets to board. The flight to new york was uneventful, the arrival, unfortunatly was not. We land in NYC at JFK and must switch planes. We can't do this because the plane had to park in a "plane parking lot" becuase there was no gate open for us. So we have an hour and a half to switch planes and airlines, but we had to wait for some bus to get us off the plane to transfer us to the terminal. We wait about an hour ! We are begining to freak out at this point. Not knowing where to go once we get off the stupid plane to catch our flight was frightening. So we finally get off the plane and into the terminal. Much to our bad luck, we have to go from Terminal 3 to terminal 1. So we run through the terminal....long way...take a trane to the the next terminal.....run some more to security...luckily this was easy...run to the gate with 10 minutes before departure!!! Barely made final call...wheew!!!
So all tired and sweaty we are on the Air France plane. It was a very nice plane with great service. Only bad part of that flight was the person in the eilse seat took a pill I wish I had taken and was so passed out, it was hard to wake him when we had to use the restroom.
