Hey,
I had to travel to New York City last week and trust me it was overwhelming! So I digress.
I went for work which was awesome but I was in terrible pain Saturday and Sunday. Here are some pictures
Staten Island Ferry
Three guess as to what this is...
So I was there. It was fascinating and educational and sensitive work and I will leave it at that. I did get to Manhattan Island on Thursday night it was eye opening. Plus it was me wondering around 42nd Street looking like a lost child. I did manage to get to Grand Central Station where I had
Junior's - delish (their Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake makes the Cheesecake Factory taste like government cheese). I hit up the NY Public library and paid way too much for tee shirts for me and Attractive Al - who by the way cannot be left alone again...something about eating moldy apples.
I will say that I never again take a DC Metro train driver for granted again. I don't know how
NYC Newlywed does it. The place smells like ant spray, train drivers don't speak clearly (ask me why I had to exit Rector Street to get back on to go to South Ferry St? - because there is no mezzanine like in DC). Although the people I met were FAB! Although, if I see the Park Police Officer who goaded me into buying unnecessary crap for mom and mother-in-law, we will have words. But overall, completely too nice.
Oh, I will try to hit the fair big apple again - this time on my time and my terms.
