I started sightseeing as soon as I landed in Portland's International Airport. My sister was there to pick me up, it was great seeing her, and we were both thrilled since out of the 10 years she’s lived in Oregon that was my 1st time visiting her there. Our 1st stop was to eat breakfast at” The Original Pancake House” right there in Portland; ah the food was very good and filling.
Stuffed as we were she excited about showing me Multnomah Falls and I was excited about seeing it, so we started our journey on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The drive was very scenic, serene and lush with views of the Columbia River peeking through every now and then.
We pulled off the Highway once we came to the Vista House at Crown Point the view of the Columbia River was beautiful, looking out over the river into the state of Washington, I loved it!!
Back in the car we went and off to Multnomah Falls. I have never seen a waterfalls before so I was looking forward to this. Once we got there OH I was amazed!! Just the thought of water never stopping always running like a water faucet left on, never turned off. I love these natural wonders!! After we climbed up to the bridge and took pictures, we got back in the car and left, off to my sister's home in Beaverton.
