France, Italy and Greece Holiday Summer 2009.

Hi,

     We are a young couple  based in London, have just started planning a trip to France, Italy and Greece in July 2009. My wife loves history , shopping , romantic locations. I am fond  of  architectures, beaches , parties  and romantic getaways. So this holiday will be a combination of all these. I am trying to work this one out with a fixed limited budget . After working out several combinations keeping in mind both the costs and time consumption , I have arrived at a rough plan detailed below.We will be staying at budget hotels not more than 3 stars until Day 11 and from then on treat ourselves with 5 star stays..:) at the islands.
   

Day 1   : Train to Paris, checkin , Explore Paris , sleep in Paris.
Day 2   : Explore Paris, checkout , flight to Rome , check in , sleep in Rome.
Day 3  : Explore Rome , sleep in Rome.
Day 4  : Explore Rome , sleep in Rome.
Day 5  : Morning Check out , train to Florence , checkin , explore Florence , Sleep in Florence.
Day 6  : Explore Florence , late evening checkout , train to venice , check in  ,Sleep in Venice.
Day 7   : Explore Venice , Sleep in Venice.
Day 8  : Morning checkout , train to Milan , check in , Explore Milan , sleep in Milan.
Day 9  : Explore Milan , sleep in Milan.
Day 10  : Morning checkout , flight to Athens, check in , Explore Athens, sleep in Athens.
Day 11  : Explore Athens , Rockwave festival , sleep in Athens.
Day 12  : Morning chekout , ferry to Santorini , checkin , explore Santorini , sleep in Santorini.
Day 13  : Explore Santorini , sleep in Santorini.
Day 14  : Checkout , ferry to Mykonos , checkin , explore Mykonos , sleep in Mykonos.
Day 15  : Explore Mykonos , sleep in Mykonos.
Day 16  : Checkout , ferry to Athens , flight to London.

Still planning......any advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
