We decided to go to Boston the same day, we just woke up early with out planes, so we just hit the road from North-bergen, NJ to Boston, MA.
Boston, first incorporated as a town in 1630, and as a city in 1822, is one of America's oldest cities, easy city to visit, we used the Freedom Trail.The Trail takes the visitor to 16 historical sites in the course of two or three hours and covers two and a half centuries of America's most significant past.
the first place to visit was the Boston Common is the oldest park in the country, across from the Boston Common is located , the "new" State House Built in 1798 owned by Massachusetts first elected governor, John Hancock. Park Street Church.
Granary burying ground, was one of my favorite placer, three signers of the Declaration of Independence, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, and Robert Treat Paine, are buried here.
we saw also The Old South Meeting House (1729) Puritan house of worship, and was the largest building in Colonial Boston.
Don't foget to visit the Old state House and Boston Masacre side.
Old North Church On the steeple of this church, Robert Newman signaled with lanterns the approach of the British regulars; "One if by land, and two, if by sea".
If you want to buy fresh vegetables and fruit with a great taste DONT miss The Faneuil Hall has served as a marketplace and a meeting hall since 1742
Paul Revere House, Built around 1680, this house is the oldest building in downtown Boston. USS Constitucion oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world.(1797) and The Bunker Hill Monument stands 221 feet tall at Breed's Hill.
For the people who really like history Boston is the perfect place, you wont be sorry. and is really economic just follow the Trail ....and dont forget the Lobster:)
