Mark and I started the day at Pike Place Market in Seattle. It was so cold! We walked through the market looking at all the produce and different stores. There was so much to take in! My favorite was the fish market - we actually got to see them throw the fish!
From there, we continued on to the first Starbucks. It was pretty cool to see where it all started - Of course we bought coffee.
We then found a store, Sotto Voce, that sold olive oils. I had been looking for a gift for my mom and thought this was perfect. You could try the different types of oil - all were great!.
From there we decided to go to the "flagship" REI (Mark's favorite store). The REI was huge - they had a little restaurant - World Wraps and that is where we ate. The one thing I did not like was that you had to pay for Parking. I know many places make you pay for parking - It just seemed like we paid for parking alot in Seattle.
After REI we went into Queen Anne - just outside of Seattle. Mark took me to Kerry Park which has a great overlook of the city. By this time, the clouds cleared and the sun came out. It was truly a beautiful day! We also went to Peet's coffee to get our afternoon caffeine boost.
