12/21/08-12/26/08
12/21/08, we arrived at the airport (桃園國際機場) late and by the time we checked into the Sheraton hotel, it's already past 11pm.
12/22/08, we had traditional taiwanese breakfast at (阜杭豆漿) on the 2nd floor of a nearby market (華山市場). Must try the thick sesame cake(厚燒餅), it's too die for (or wait at least 20 minutes for).
12/22/08, took Taipei MRT (台北捷運) to Eslite Bookstore (誠品書店) and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store (新光三越百貨). We had lunch at (春水堂), the birthplace of pearl milk tea (珍珠奶茶). Although good, it's not worth spending NTD150 for a cup, I thought!
12/22/08, same night, we visited 三姊, Han was excited to see and taste bell fruits (蓮霧) and Taiwan guava (芭樂). To my surprise, she didn't like the bell fruits too much.
12/23/08, was Han's photo shoot session that we had pre-scheduled with Lemon Studio (檸檬巷館). Lemon Studio specialized in American-style children photography, which means no costumes and no make-ups. Just trying to capture the most nature expressions of the child. We are really pleased with the result; take a look at the picture, and see for yourself!
12/23/08, Han was pleased to see some tropical fruits that she's never seen before - cherimoyas (釋迦) and dragon fruits (火龍果). The store owner called her "Dragon Fruit Princess" as we were taking this picture and made Han real happy the whole day...
12/24/08, we went to Peitou hotspring (北投溫泉) to enjoy a nice, relax day. We reserved a private room so all three of us can bath together. We had the room for 70 minutes but it's not quiet enough to bath, shower and rest; 2 hours would have been perfect.
12/25/08, I took Han to meet with my middle school classmates. Although we all have grown olders (and wiser), our looks haven't changed much, really!
