Recommendation

Recommended Itinerary:

Krabi has so much more to offer. If you have about 1 week to spare, consider below itinerary to fully utulize your time and enjoy more of the serene Andaman Sea, amazing coral and reefes, beautiful beaches, rivers, shades and abundant forest of Krabi, Thailand.

Non-peak  season : June-July (hot & humid); Peak season : December – July

Budget guidelines

Acomodation <1000baht  per night for guesthouse; <>2500baht per night for a decent hotel

Food < 200baht per meal

Transportation 200 baht  motor bike rent per day, 50-100 baht per trip on songthaew (pickup)

Package 400-2500 baht per  package

Leisure >200baht for 1 hour body massage/reflexology

Day 1:

Take leisure walk around Ao Nang Beach and plan/’shop’ for your next activities. Night time, have seafood at any one of the restaurants beside the beach. The sound of the waves lulling you to enjoy your food.

Do stay at Ao Nang Beach, the center of attraction for 2-3 nights at least. Buy necessary gears here and get prepared for your ‘island trips’.  Ao Nang Beach has a pier that connects and brings you to the other beaches and islands.  There are plenty of packages that you can choose from.  Of course, you may opt to stay at other beaches i.e. Railay Beach.

Day 2: Take a 1 day trip to other islands for swimming, snorkeling and fish feeding.

Day 3: Take a 1 day trip for kayaking, canoeing, caves, elephant trekking & jungle tour.

Day 4: National Park, Krabi town, Tiger Cave Temple, Wat Tham Sua (still under construction), jungle walk to Crystal Pool, Freshwater Emerald Pond , hot spring waterfall.

Day 5: Diving

Day 6: Visit Puket.

Note: Puket is  bigger than Krabi, Patong Beach is slightly similar to Ao Nang beach.

Day 7: Spend a last leisure lazy day.

Accomodation:

Recommended : K-Guesthouse at Krabi town

Old Lamp bungalow looks interesting though we did not have the chance to stay.

Some National Park also have treehouse such as Arts Jungle House at Khao Sak National Park. But this is not exactly near to Krabi, I suppose.

HAVE FUN! Hope this helps...
