2008 Hwy 127 Garage Sale Road Trip

Objectives:  - Experience the world longest yard sale (www.127sale.com)

                        - Eat at Porkers in Chattanooga

                        - Traverse the Natchez Trace

                        - Pick up Candles from Lynchburg

                        - Pick up Tabasco Soya Sauce from Avery Island

                        - Do a geocache in each state and province

                        - Discover new things

                        - Have Fun

Statistics:  11, 500 km – 2 oil changes.  Four provinces (BC, Alta, Sask, Man.) and nineteen states (North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana).  All completed with Scrat, our sabre toothed squirrel mascot from Ice Age duct taped to the roof of the car.   

August 2, 2008.  Travel from Cranbrook to Regina .  Stops for geocaching in Coaldale and Moose Jaw .  Overnighted with the Forsyth’s and the boys had a visit with Cousin Sam.  Keelan stayed behind in Regina to spend time with his cousin, attend the exhibition – Buffalo Days, and spend time at Regina Beach .
