Cliff dwellings at Montezuma Castle

This is a good educational experience for all ages in the family. Entry fee is $5 per adult while kids get in free. This is a National Monument so if you have a National Park passport, bring it along so you can get stamped for visiting it.

Hope you enjoyed Northern Arizona... I'm a little bit puzzled though about your comments on Bigfoot BBQ. It's hidden in a basement yes, but once you enter you'll find a large spacious, open, friendly, restaurant inside a fun filled basement marketplace. We have seating for over 80, tv's (even "sponge bob" tv dedicated for children), a kids area with books and toys, crayons, and a fun atmosphere with free peanuts... even allowing everyone to throw the empty shells on the floor... the kids love this.
Sound like you didn't venture in... if so that's too bad, you missed out!
If you're back in the area, please stop in! You're guaranteed to have a good time!

How did you find the weather?
We wanted to travel in this area and can only go December/January but were worried about road closures and snow/ice covered roads.
