Vancouver B.C. - Christmas 2008

Got settled in - went to market and put all our stuff away in the condo. We are on the 28th floor and have a fabulous view.  The studio is small (as if u r in NY- more than enough room for two) but put together extremely well. There is a queen bed, small table with two chairs, a comfy chair for relaxing and a padded bench @ the end of the bed. The kitchen is granite counters, small fridge, coffee pot, toaster and other basic items. We enjoy glass of wine, cheese and crackers, bagels & cream cheese, popcorn  and nuts - snacks or light now cooked meals in the room so it fits us well.  We got grocery a block away at ICA perfect for snacks and across the street is a wine shop that we get 10% off for staying @ Intrawest. Can't beat that.   

We had late lunch at a wonderful place called Earl's just down the street with music superb food and a perfect view of snow falling on the city - so perfect.  They have some of the best white clam chowder I've ever had before. I had the short ribs special - all I can say is delish!!  Hubby had chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with fries yummo!  They have a daily cocktail special and hubby had two - Caesar double shot for $6. They have a nice wine list as well but too early for me. There coffee was strong but good. The bathroom is not to be missed wow is it cool!!!  And last but not least the service staff - they are all wonderful and sweet.
