Per usual our trip has started out as a cluster. Maybe we should do a tad more planning next time. Nah, what would be the fun in deciding where to go more then 2 days before. Called to get our tickets set up on CO and found out it was going to cost $475 per person. NOT. They were charging a $150 fuel surcharge each way. We ended up buying zed tickets on AA out of DFW plus one from DENDFW and still still paid less then half that. Now getting home out of DFW may be a problem but we will deal with that later. Ended up getting decent seats on AA I was separate from Jon and Sheila but we are going to spend the next week together. Made it through customs pretty quickly and got attacked by taxi drivers right outside the door. One of the hustler called the hotel for us and they said that we needed to take an orange taxi and this guy wanted to go up 2 stories in the parking garage to his car. This was not going to happen as he did not have an orange cab anyway. We were not sure we had even talked to the hotel another guy called also and we got the same info. I went back inside and found the taxi booth and paid the $10 to get an orange taxi to the hotel.
The Adventure in was a decent hotel. We had 3 double beds for about $93 plus taxes. It was clean and had a full breakfast in the morning. Free wi fi and about 6 computers for guest use and a workout room if you were ambitious. Jon was out cold all night. Sheila and I tossed and turned for most of the night and we were both exhausted.
