Our Nation's Capital

Becky and I just got back from HEB. We bought some snack for our long travel day tomorrow. We shall depart Austin, Texas at around 11 am CDT. We have a 3 hour layover in Charlotte, North Carolina before we land in Washington D.C. in the late afternoon, early evening.

I am charging my electronic toys. I plan on taking my iPhone to guide me around the city, just like I did in Europe. I will also be taking my Nikon D80 for pictures and a Canon point & shoot to record video. Other than that I am packing lightly since we do not want to lug around too much cargo.

I have already researched a bit on Washington D.C. and with the help of Nicole Audet who has the inside on the United States House, we got the hookup on our White House Tickets. I am grateful for her help. We will try to post info at the hostel . . . if they have Internet. Sionara!
