memphis without the king?
no way! the ride to memphis was RELAXING. we stopped at lambert's and ate. to me, it wasn't all that great. if we weren't passing through i would not have made a special trip to go there. it was okay. then again...i don't really have a food fetish anymore.
next stop was new madrid. here i had visions of the teutonic plates opening up and eating me. instead i just snapped photos from the observation deck. how many people can say they were photographed infront of number 10 island? that's what i thought...
made it to memphis and i immediately found a statue of elvis where i had to oogle. so much from coming to memphis and completely ignoring THE KING. damn the white man!!
