7th Grade Austin Trip

Trip should be scheduled around April and the buses need to be reserved when school starts. The Thursday of the week of spring parent/teacher conferences worked well. Thursday is good for meeting a state representative, since they are normally out of town on Fridays.

Create a phone list and provide the trip plan for all chaperones.


HRP's to send note to classrooms with the following details:
1. Spending money is at parent's discretion.
2. No cell phones; There will be plenty of adults with phones for emergency use.
3. No pillows for the ride on the bus.
4. Two bottles of water per child will be provided. One snack for the way home is provided (by the school).
5. Girls can wear athletic shoes instead of school shoes because of all the walking (but NOT Dockers topsiders)
6. They all must wear their uniforms
