New Journal Entry

We took a plane from Davao International Airport at around 2:00PM to NAIA3 for our connecting flight to Singapore. Our flight from Manila to Singapore was at 8:45PM so we had a 4 hour wait in the airport. There's not much to see yet at NAIA3 since it only opened last August 2008 so only a few shops and eateries around. We arrived at Budget terminal airport in Singapore at around 11:55pm. Cebu Pacific indeed have live up to its commitment and that is to depart & arrive on time. We took a car (BMW) arranged by my brother to pick us up at the airport and bring us to Summerview Hotel at Bencoolen St. It is my first time in Singapore and amazingly it is very clean. There's so many trees even as we enter the City proper.

We arrived at Summerview a few minutes past midnight and my brother met us in the lobby. There was a long embrace by my brother & mom (we haven't seen each other for almost 2 years since he's working in UK). The bellboy took our bags and noticeably he is an old man. At the back of my mind I was thinking they don't retire their personnel. The man took us in our room and demontrated in a very courteous manner how to use the hotel facilities and told us that water in Singapore are clean and that you can drink it straight from the tap. He even drank from it in assurance.

I am creasy about singapore,she is the best country that i have never been before,i really desire to work there if i have a chance ,OH ,GODNESS!can I?
Friends,if you are free and want to travel somewhere,I highly recommend to you SINGAPORE ,there is no better place to go expect she!A walk around SINGAPORE it is feast for your eyes , mouth and so on ...

hi, guys,,, i am Beng,, and i read ur messages about singapore trip,, that was nice,,infact i was planning to go in Singapore by June,, but this is the first time i will go in Singapore,, that was my confuses now,, can u please give me some advice or tips that i can enjoy my first trip in Singapore,, and how can i spend my money wisier,,,what hotel that give me some relax and enjoy to stay there in Singapore! ii want to stay there 2 to 3days only! please waiting for ur tips ,,,

Hi Bernz:) i've already booked Summerview for 4 nyts in April.can't wait to be there. And yes,i will be waiting for your journal when it comes out coz we will be heading to BKK after Sing. By the way i booked thru Asiaroms, had a good deal at $478 for 4 nyts!!you've done a great job making your journal but i don't think i can make one...but i'll try..Thanks.Have a great and safe trip as well..=)=)

Zanjoe, thank you for reading my trip journal, glad it helps you on your trip. There are still a lot to see in Singapore that's why I will be coming back there (someday...) Anyway another journal will be coming up after our trip to Bangkok in March. I hope you'll read it too. And do make a journal after your trip, not only will it make us remember but will also help others. And do make review on hotels. Have a great trip!!!

Hi Zanjoe, if ever I will go back to Singapore I will still stay at Summerview Hotel for reasons it is convenient (near Bugis, Little India, Orchard etc) you can practically just walk to reach where you wanted to be (just be sure to bring a map with you). Second, don't expect to get a 5 star treatment from a 2 star hotel ( my experience was the service is better for a 2 star). You can read my journal to know more. Thanks
